In Dubai, Microsoft has announced Wave 2 of the Microsoft 365 Copilot rollout, providing companies of all sizes—from large enterprises to small businesses—with powerful new tools to help them collaborate, innovate, and work smarter in today’s AI-driven world.

Introducing Copilot Pages: A New Way to Work Together

One of the most exciting features is Copilot Pages, a dynamic canvas designed to enhance collaboration. Imagine this: you’re having a conversation with Copilot, and suddenly, the ideas just flow. Instead of losing them in chat, Copilot Pages lets you turn these insights into editable documents that can be shared with your team. Everyone can work on it in real-time, creating a new level of teamwork between people and AI. This is a whole new way of working, blending human creativity with AI support in an interactive, easy-to-use format.

Copilot Now Supercharges Excel and PowerPoint

In addition to Copilot Pages, Microsoft has made Copilot in Excel available to all users, allowing professionals to get the most out of Excel’s many capabilities. From step-by-step explanations to helping with advanced tasks like forecasting and data visualization, Copilot is a powerful assistant. Even better, Microsoft has combined Excel with Python, allowing users to handle complex data analysis, machine learning, and more, all with the help of natural language commands.

For those who work with presentations, Narrative Builder in PowerPoint is now generally available. This means you can have Copilot help you create an outline for your presentation, and when you’re ready, it will generate the slides for you—making the whole process smoother and faster.

Smarter Meetings and Email Management with Copilot in Teams and Outlook

We’ve all been there—leaving a meeting and realizing we missed a key point. Copilot in Teams has got you covered. It can now analyze both the meeting transcript and chat, so you never miss important questions or details. It’s like having a personal meeting assistant, making sure you stay on top of everything.

In Outlook, the new Prioritize my inbox feature helps users focus on the most important emails, offering summaries of long messages and explanations about why certain email chains were prioritized. This is a game changer for anyone trying to manage a busy inbox and get things done efficiently.

Listening to Customers and Continuously Improving

Jared Spataro, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of AI at Work, shared that customer feedback has been crucial in shaping these updates. In just 18 months since Copilot was launched, over 1,000 customers have shared their experiences, helping Microsoft make over 700 product improvements and add more than 150 new features.

“For millions of people around the world, work happens in Microsoft 365 apps,” Spataro said. “Copilot has quickly become part of daily routines, saving time and boosting productivity. With this new wave of updates, we’re making Copilot even better based on everything we’ve learned from our customers.”

Empowering Businesses with Copilot Agents

Microsoft is also giving businesses the power to create customized AI tools with Copilot Agents, now generally available. These AI-powered assistants can automate repetitive tasks, freeing up time for more important work. With Agent Builder in Copilot Studio, anyone—regardless of skill level—can create and deploy these agents to Microsoft Teams, websites, or even mobile apps, enabling businesses to operate more efficiently.

This is just the beginning of Wave 2. In the coming months, Microsoft promises to reveal even more ways Copilot will transform how we work, making businesses more productive and agile in the process.
