Chrome Now Lets You Share Tab Groups Across All Your Devices

Google is adding some cool new features to Chrome, making it even easier to browse across different devices. One of the biggest updates is the ability to share tab groups across your phone, tablet, and desktop.

Tab groups are already available on Android and desktop, and soon, iOS users will be able to use this feature too. This means you’ll be able to organize and access your browsing sessions no matter which device you're on.

Chrome Now Lets You Share Tab Groups Across All Your Devices

For example, if you’re planning a trip and researching on your phone, but later want to check more details on your computer, you can create a tab group on your phone to organize everything. That tab group will then automatically sync with your desktop, so you can pick up exactly where you left off when you open Chrome there.

Tab Groups Coming to iOS

There’s great news for iPhone and iPad users. Tab groups will soon be available on iOS as well. This feature lets you organize related tabs into groups, making it easier to manage your browsing. You can even color-code and rename your groups to keep things tidy.

To use tab groups on iOS:

  1. Open Chrome’s tab grid on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Long-press a tab.
  3. Choose "Add Tab to New Group."

Chrome’s New Suggested Pages Feature

Another new feature Google is testing in Chrome is a smart suggestion system. Chrome will now suggest pages you’ve visited on other devices that you might want to revisit.

So, if you were shopping for shoes on your work computer, Chrome will remember and suggest that same page when you open a new tab on your phone later, without needing to bookmark it. This feature will work across desktop, Android, and iOS, making it super easy to get back to what you were browsing.
