Sony’s New $60 Wireless Earbuds Offer 11 Hours of Battery Life
Sony has just released the WF-C510, its newest entry-level wireless earbuds that combine affordability with impressive features. For just $60, these earbuds promise comfort and long-lasting battery life that might surprise you.
Sony describes these as their smallest "closed" earbuds yet, designed with silicone tips and an ergonomic shape for a snug, comfortable fit. The charging case is also compact, making it easy to carry around in your pocket.
Despite their small size, the battery life is a standout feature. Sony claims that the earbuds can last up to 11 hours on a single charge, and the case provides an additional 11 hours, giving you a total of 22 hours of listening time. Even a quick five-minute charge can give you an extra hour of playback, perfect for when you're on the go.
While these earbuds don't offer traditional active noise cancelation, they do feature "Voice Focus," which enhances voices for clearer communication. There's also an Ambient Sound Mode, similar to the Transparency mode on AirPods, allowing you to hear what's happening around you while you listen to music.
The WF-C510 earbuds are easy to use, thanks to Fast Pair and Swift Pair features, and they support Spotify Tap for quick access to your favorite music. You can connect them to two devices simultaneously, and with IPX4 water resistance, they’re ready for workouts and rainy days.
These earbuds come in black, white, and yellow, and you can pre-order them from Amazon. Additionally, an exclusive blue version is available directly from Sony.
Compared to other options like the Beats Solo Buds, which may offer longer battery life for the earbuds themselves but lack a battery in the case, Sony’s WF-C510 earbuds stand out with their extended overall battery life and secure fit, making them a strong contender in the budget earbuds market.
