According to the report, OpenAI's annual revenue was about $1.6 billion late last year. Backed by Microsoft, OpenAI collaborates with the software giant to support its generative AI initiatives while expanding its own operations.

Following the Apple WWDC event on June 10, where there was anticipation for a generative AI announcement, Altman confirmed that Apple will integrate ChatGPT into its devices later this year. This integration will make it easier for Apple users to access OpenAI’s models.

Additionally, OpenAI and Oracle announced this week that OpenAI will use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to extend the Microsoft Azure AI platform. Altman stated, “We are delighted to be working with Microsoft and Oracle. OCI will extend Azure’s platform and enable OpenAI to continue to scale.”
